WHO AM I?

This is a classic question that a person asks periodically, especially when your age approaches 40, who am I and what do I live for? I am Verbovsky Vadim Vladimirovich, an ethnic Ukrainian, but Russian in spirit and views. I have always understood my roots, but at the same time, I was aware of the time and social background in which I find myself. In the modern chaos and the breakdown of everything old, I and many of my peers are looking for a point of support, what to rely on, what to move towards, what to protect, and what to resist.

NEVER HAPPENED THIS BEFORE AND AGAIN

I am writing this article during the days of honoring the heroes of Kruty in Ukraine on January 29, but it was necessary to mark this date as a day of mourning for how the short-sighted and incompetent government of the Ukrainian People's Republic sent young schoolchildren and students to the slaughter, realizing that they could all die.

CHILDREN HEROES OF THE SOVIET UNION

According to various sources, up to several tens of thousands of minors took part in the military actions during the Great Patriotic War. "Sons of the Regiment", pioneer heroes - they fought and died on an equal basis with adults. They were awarded orders and medals for their military merits. The images of some of them were used in Soviet propaganda as symbols of courage and loyalty to the Motherland. Five minor fighters of the Great Patriotic War were awarded the highest award - the title of Hero of the USSR. All - posthumously, remaining in textbooks and books as children and teenagers.
