In every person's life, there are minutes of rise and minutes of fall. It may take a moment, or perhaps a lifetime, from falling to taking off. To forget your past is to die. To put out the fire that is passed down from our ancestors to us. We are not saying that you do not need to keep up with the times, be open to innovations and modern technologies. However, in order not to lose your face, your inner core, you need to clearly understand where you came from and where you are going.
The modern era gives us not only examples of the breakdown of the economy, the social structure of society, the destruction of states and unions, it breaks the destinies of nations and people. Under the current conditions, not losing oneself, standing up and finding opportunities for growth and development is not only the task of an individual, but also of the state as a whole.
In the context of escalating global competition and the clash of civilizational states (the United States, China and Russia) for world leadership, the importance of personality in history is once again evident. The ability to feel the ground under your feet and the prospects for development, to determine the goal-setting, basic and defining, without which a successful leader of our time is unthinkable. Winning the competition, and sometimes surviving, has become the leitmotif of the modern era.
It is a tragedy for a person, in particular, and for the state as a whole, when by the will of fate, or perhaps consciously, he gets to the top of Olympus, but because of his personal qualities or education and experience, he is not ready to solve the tasks that modern states face, to ensure stability and development.
We see such a tragedy in the example of the president-actor or actor-president Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky. Lack of experience, political will, and sometimes naivety and stupidity are combined with the lack of a serious and qualified team. In fact, President Zelensky of Ukraine has no real support among the elites and law enforcement agencies, and this "stems" from fear of radical nationalists and the embassies of the Big Seven, which finance and organizationally support them.
We are on the verge of a global conflict, and Zelensky's tragedy lies in the fact that he does not fully understand what scenario he is participating in, and if he does, let him remember the fate of Mazepa, Hrushevsky and Bendera. You can spend an endless amount of time making mistakes and following the beaten path of the above characters, but you can come to your senses and make your historical choice. Go down in history as the savior of the Ukrainian people, or you can be in the place of those who plunged it into the era of Civil wars, external intervention and devastation.
It is safe to say that over the past two years, Vladimir Alexandrovich himself and his team have shown helplessness and inability to fundamentally turn the situation around in the economy and in foreign policy. The election promises have not been fulfilled, the country seems to have frozen, stopped in its development.
In our opinion, there are two reasons for this: the first is the inability to do anything organizationally or ideologically, and the second is the puppet regime and dependence in making independent decisions.
The recent events with the closure of opposition channels illustrate all of the above and, ultimately, unnatural to Ukrainian political culture. No president has ever allowed himself to do anything like this, even the most authoritarian and "non-European" ones like Kuchma and Yanukovych. The reason for this was an externally imposed decision, most likely by American curators, or, no less disappointingly, the head of state's "Napoleon complex" suddenly awakened.
It is hard for me to realize that the positive and bright figure of actor Vladimir Zelensky has turned into a dark and tragic role of the executioner of the Ukrainian state. We are entering an era of great and tragic trials. The ruin returns in all its forms. May God grant the Ukrainian people courage and patience to survive these hardships and trials.
